No-sew doll clothes

No-sew doll clothes
Hi! Inkytude's back with a few more awesome no-sew crafts that you can learn how to make!
No-sew doll dress
For this dress you will need scissors, fabric, ribbon, and anything pretty you would like to glue on.
To start, decide how long you want your dress to be. Then cut a strip with that length on the shorter side. Measure and cut as much fabric that can fit comfortably around your doll and cut it there. Now you have a rectangular shape to work with. Cut arm holes where the arms are when you wrap it around her whole body.
Put your doll into the dress and overlap it at the back. You can chose to glue Velcro at the back of the dress or to tie a ribbon around the waist. You can even use a rubber band. Now you can decorate it to your pleasure!
No-sew doll poncho
This poncho is very easy and does not take a lot of time at all. The materials needed for this craft are fabric and scissors. Just like the pants!
Start off by cutting a circle that when folded in half is as long as you want it to be. To give it a different look, you can cut a square instead. When you are done cutting the shape, fold it in quarters and cut the tip at the top just big enough for your doll's head to pass through. Dress your doll from top to bottom. Put on any pretty little details and you are done! HAVE FUN!

Doll Bathtub

Introduction
This is inkytude. I named my blog after my very special doll, Inky. I make lots and lots of fun crafts for her. Today you will learn how to make some of these super cute crafts for your dolls!

Bathtub
The little bathtub you see in the picture below is Inky’s tub. It is an original idea, and a very simple craft made from easy to find materials. I used GOOS paper (good on one side), a cereal box, beads, toy filling, a fun shaped hole puncher, plastic wrap, craft foam, nail clippers, and a paper clip.
Start by tracing an oval around your doll. Then decide how deep you want your bathtub to be, and cut a long strip of cardboard that can fit all around your oval. You can make your tub any shape you like.
Next you cover those pieces in GOOS paper. I chose to make my tub white but you can make it any color you like. Before you make tour basic tub, decide if you want bath threads. To make these, punch out circles or other shapes with a hole puncher. If you want, you can cut out your bath threads.
To make the basic tub, with a hot glue gun, glue the strip of cardboard around your shape. For the faucet, get a paper clip and cut the rounded part with nail clippers. Glue it in between one blue bead and one red one to be hot and cold. Glue it to the tub. To make the soap holder, cut a square or any shape out of cardboard and cover it in craft foam. Glue it to the side of the bathtub.
There you have it, a mini bathtub for a doll. If you want to make it a bubble bath, add toy filling instead of plastic wrap for water. HAVE FUN!
To make the soap, cut a long strip of paper and bend it into a rectangle. Lay it on a piece of paper and fill it with hot glue. Before it dries, cut a small rectangle to glue on top. Let it dry and cut it out.
To make the shampoo, conditioner, and bubble bath bottles glue 2 beads together and a circle of craft foam on top for a cap. Make a scrubber by cutting a piece of a popsicle stick and glue pieces of yarn to the end to be bristles of the scrubber. Stay tuned for our next craft on inkytude!

Hello!

This is inkytude. I named my blog after my very special doll, Inky. I make lots and lots of fun crafts for her. Today you can learn how to make some of these super cute crafts for your dolls!

This is Inky. She is 9cm tall and 1 inch wide. She is having a picnic right now with a quilt (using supplies from a potholders kit), a basket (that I learned to make from myfroggystuff), and pretend food I made for her.
